Get to Know Me

Molly (The Human)

Pronouns: she/her

I was born and raised in northern NJ, and moved to Philadelphia in 2022. I enjoyed 2.5 years in the city before moving back to Jersey in 2025.

I have been passionate about mental health since I was a kid. I know firsthand what it's like to be the patient in therapy, and how deeply mental health challenges can impact your life. I have been a lifelong human rights advocate, engaging in education, advocacy, and community care as often as I can. My values include being intersectional, feminist, health at every size, and LGBTQ+ affirming (to name a few). â€‹

I prioritize authenticity, which is something I bring into all my sessions. Therapy is supposed to be a space for you to feel safe enough to embrace who you are fully, and so I believe it's important I match that in my work. I bring my authentic self to sessions through humor, acceptance, and curiosity. â€‹

I am a licensed clinical social worker serving teens, young adults, and adults in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have 8 years of professional experience in the mental health field. I received my Bachelor's of Social Work at Rutgers University in 2018, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies and Sociology. As a social worker, I operate through a systematic lens. This means I consider the societal and environmental influences on my clients' lived experiences- because no one lives in a vacuum! This approach allows me to have much deeper understanding of my clients, and therefore, more powerful outcomes in therapy.

After graduation, I spent time working in community mental health. I supported individuals with chronic/severe mental health conditions adjust to independent living. Through this experience, I witnessed firsthand the ways mental health and systematic oppression are intertwined. I gained valuable experience engaging in crisis management and helping my clients build skills to support their wellness journey.

I then attended Fordham University where I obtained my Masters of Social Work in 2020. Since then, I have provided therapeutic services in a variety of settings: school, intensive outpatient, and private practice. In recent years, I have received EMDR training and have specialized in trauma healing.
